Save Money On Bills

It's not how much you earn that matters, it's how much you keep. There are people that make three times as much as you but end up keeping way less, if anything at all. These are the kind of people that end up bankrupt. As long as you end up saving as much as possible, you won't end up in the same situation.

We save because we want a comfortable future where we can relax and enjoy life. Bill Manager can help you save by reminding you when your bills are due, but we also have some other tips for your bills that you might appreciate.

  1. Turn Off your lights and appliances when you aren't using them. It makes sense, right? If you aren't using it, why leave it plugged in? Even if you think something isn't drawing power, it's very possible that it might be. A few examples of electronics that draw an idle current are: your cell phone charger, "instant on" devices like remote control receivers, temperature gauges.
  2. Check For Leaks in your water pipes. Small leaks here and there can add up to a significantly higher bill at the end of the month.
  3. Insulate Your Home to keep the cold in during the summer and the heat in during the winter. Conversely, it will keep the hot out during the summer and the cold out during the winter. In other words, it's a huge money-saver on your heating and cooling bills.
  4. Energy Saving Lights have become very inexpensive and will also decrease dramatically your energy bill. These lights consume very little power, yet provide similar lighting to the old style light bulbs, so there's really no reason to keep spending so much on electricity you don't need.
  5. Be Savvy about cheaper technologies. For instance, you can save a bundle on phone charges in general if you switch your phone service over to VOIP (Voice Over IP). You'll get the same call quality for tons less.

In conclusion, the moral of the story is that you should be conscious of what you're doing when you plug something in. Make sure your house uses as little electricity as possible. And unplug devices that aren't being used. That should do a great job at saving you money in the long run.
