Could You Claim Free Government Money?

Each and every year more than $450 billion is given away by the government to millions of people, but they are the lucky ones who realised they could claim it! The majority of Americans have no idea that this money exists. Are you one of them? The reason that this money is given away is simply that it is allocated for certain grants but goes unclaimed. Therefore, what remains is given to those who ordinarily wouldn't qualify, but if they take the time to fill out an application, they may just get the money.

Federal grants can be awarded for a variety of things from help with debt to home repairs and improvements. They're also issued for educational purposes and to assist in making your home more environmentally friendly. What's more, they aren't loans; they are literally cash in your hand grants that do not need to be paid back. The only requirement is that you prove you used the money as specified on your application.

These grants don't need any kind of collateral and they aren't subject to a credit check - you could be a declared bankrupt and still be able to claim. Another great thing is, you can claim as many times as you wish! There are no restrictions on the number of claims you can make and as long as you are a US citizen, you're good to go.

Sounds too good to be true? Yes, but it is true, and here are just some of the things this money is granted for:

  • Small Businesses may be awarded up to $500,000 to fund a small business start-up or growth
  • A personal grant is basically for pretty much anything! Think of a reason why you need money, put it on the form, and you may well be awarded a grant
  • Housing grants are available for down payments, remodeling and buying real estate for investment purposes
  • Education and scholarship grants can help you into further education
  • Grants and funding specifically for women will fund for example legal expenses, starting up a child-care business as well as many other purposes
  • Minority Assistance Grants are available to fund business ideas, arts programs and a variety of non-profit programs
  • So, why not search the web for free government grants for your state and see what you could claim. After all, who would turn down free money?
